eLearning - Content and Visual Design

Tools: Articulate Rise - LMS Platform

I developed a series of eLearning modules for a national organization focused on improving long-term health outcomes for children and families. The organization supports programs that provide intensive, data-driven services to families across the U.S., with a strong emphasis on community impact and scalable, evidence-based practices.

My Process:

  • Needs Analysis
Worked closely with internal teams to understand the goals of their two flagship family support programs and the training needs of their expanding workforce.

  • Working Sessions
Facilitated working sessions with SMEs to gather insights, clarify complex processes, and align content with program values and learner needs. Defined learning goals using Bloom’s Taxonomy.

  • Instructional Design

Created a detailed storyboard to define learning objectives, sequence topics, and structure content in a way that made it digestible, engaging, and aligned with adult learning principles.

  • Content Curation & Validation
Organized and refined existing content, supplemented it with new material, and led iterative reviews with stakeholders to ensure clarity, accuracy, and tone alignment.

  • Development in Rise
I designed and built the final modules using Articulate Rise, carefully selecting visuals, interactions, and layouts to enhance learner engagement + retention.

This project required translating deep, community-based knowledge into scalable, digital learning experiences while maintaining the heart and mission of the programs: empowering healthier futures for children and families.
