Playbook Design & Development
Overview
As a Content and Visual Design Expert, I designed and developed a Process Library Playbook for a U.S.-based client to centralize and streamline access to critical cross-departmental documentation. The playbook helped clarify ownership, improve searchability, and enhance visual navigation—all while strictly adhering to the client’s brand guidelines.
Note: Some information in the visuals is blurred to protect client confidentiality. The client is a U.S.-based enterprise with high standards for internal compliance and documentation quality.
The Problem
Before the playbook, teams had difficulty locating relevant documents. There was no unified structure or terminology across departments, users lacked guidance on how to maintain or update documentation. Also, the documentation experience was inconsistent and visually disjointed.
Solution
I created a 7-slide visual and content playbook that translates a complex documentation ecosystem into a simple, brand-aligned experience.
Content & UX Writing
Wrote clean, instructional copy tailored to internal audiences.
Simplified key concepts (e.g., “Document Types,” “Pending Signed”) to reduce ambiguity.
Designed content flow from awareness to action using UX writing principles.
Visual & Brand-Aligned Design
Followed U.S. client brand guidelines: typography, color schemes, icons, and layout grid
Developed a highly visual experience using process diagrams, step-by-step illustrations (with tooltips/arrows), and custom status icons.
