Verdeciego
Art Direction – Awareness Campaign (AI-assisted project - MidJourney)

A bold conceptual campaign that visualizes the climate crisis we’ve trained ourselves not to see.

INSIGHT & IDEA
People aren't blind to climate change.
They've just learned to scroll past it.

Verdeciego is a self-initiated awareness campaign for a fictional global environmental NGO. The name combines Spanish and English — verde (green) and ciego (blind) — to evoke the willful ignorance surrounding environmental collapse.
This project explores art direction through concept development, image curation, and AI-assisted visual experimentation. All visuals were generated using AI tools to exaggerate distortion and reflect our numbed perception of the planet.
The campaign doesn’t ask for action — it disrupts, reframes, and forces the viewer to see what they’ve trained themselves to ignore.
Visual Approach
Verdeciego shows what deliberate blindness might look like. Through blur, distortion, overexposure, glitch, and chromatic noise, nature appears corrupted and unstable — mirroring how the climate crisis has become easy to filter out.
